Today, I had the privilege of not only organising my second cubing comp, but also have Feliks Zemdegs break the world record for 3x3 with an average time of 5.69s at my comp!

I happened to film a few of those solves with my GH5 in 180fps, which really allows me to slow things down.

This was his second solve in the set, in which he got a counting 5.64s. Feliks told me his pause at the 3 second mark was because he realised he didn't know that ZBLL case yet and had to resort to the regular OLL. It feels like a massive pause in slow motion, but in reality it only lasted about 0.6s! (Although that's a long time if your solve only takes 5 seconds.) I just cannot imagine finishing all four F2Ls at 3.2 seconds, and how he processes decisions so fast.
