The next character I use is Dark Pit, and when I went over how I refused to believe that it was real when seeing Dark Pit, it makes it like when someone spoils the ending of the final episode of a series you were following, like if your favourite character dies, that was almost how I felt about Dark Pit being playable in this game, and it didn't even help that the base roster of Smash 4 was leaked months before release, and there were players that streamed the game about a few days before the Japanese release of the 3DS version. About All-Star Mode, you deal more damage to opponents, while you take less from their attacks, and they have less knockback as well, but you do have to watch out for stage hazards. Dark Pit's best moves is his Electroshock Arm, as it has good knockback at higher percentages, otherwise you can use smash attacks after getting in enough damage.
Going over Dark Pit's Alt. Trophies, in the 3DS version, it uses his red alternate costume, Dark Pit has two red costumes, and the Trophy likely uses his 3rd costume, which is the darker red, while the Wii U version uses his purple costume, that is his 8th alternate costume.
I will go over All-Star Mode and which characters you fight against.
Round 1 (2015-2007): Corrin, Greninja, Lucina, Robin, Dark Pit, Shulk, Bayonetta, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina & Luma
Round 2 (2006-2001): Lucario, Lucas, Ike, Zero Suit Samus, Toon Link, Bowser Jr., Roy, Olimar, Villager
Round 3 (1998-1994): Ganondorf, Sheik, Cloud, Jigglypuff, Charizard, Pikachu, Mewtwo, Diddy Kong, Ness
Round 4 (1993-1991): Meta Knight, Falco, Fox, Wario, King Dedede, Kirby, Sonic
Round 5 (1990-1986): Captain Falcon, Yoshi, Dr. Mario, Marth, Mega Man, Ryu, Palutena, Pit
Round 6 (1986-1984): Samus, Zelda, Link, Bowser, Peach, R.O.B., Duck Hunt Duo
Round 7 (1984-1980): Little Mac, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Mario, Pac-Man, Mr. Game & Watch

With only two Kid Icarus stages in the Wii U version, Dark Pit and other characters that debuted in 2015-2007 get Skyworld, while it would make more sense to have Skyworld appear as one of the stages for 1990-1986, there are three Kid Icarus characters that are playable, and only two stages, one of them being the largest stage in the game, so it's not like that stage would appear in All-Star Mode. For other stages in the Wii U version, those are Mario Galaxy, Kalos Pokémon League, Coliseum, Wii Fit Studio, and Umbra Clock Tower, and in the 3DS version, the stages are Rainbow Road, Prism Tower, Arena Ferox, Gaur Plain, and Umbra Clock Tower.
There are two different Trophies for Dark Pit Staff, the Final Smash version is in the Wii U version, while the Dark Pit Staff weapon is a Trophy in the 3DS version, and the Final Smash Trophy shows Dark Pit firing it upward.
