This is possibly one of the hardest characters to use in All-Star Mode, that character is Villager, and while you do deal more damage to your opponents, most of Villager's moves, like the Lloid Rocket and her slingshot are projectiles, which don't get boosted as much, while the bowling ball from Villager's forward smash is good, but it has to be close up to the opponent, and her down special isn't an easy move to use as it takes a bunch of steps, but the tree does have high knockback if it connects. You do take less damage and knockback from your opponent's moves, but not from stage hazards.
Both of Villager's Alt. Trophies use the girl Villager, the 3DS version uses her 6th alternate costume, and the Wii U version uses the default girl Villager, that is her 2nd alternate costume, and the Trophy description described the Villager as a girl because it uses her for both of her Alt. Trophies.
I will go over All-Star Mode and which characters you fight against.
Round 1 (2015-2007): Corrin, Greninja, Lucina, Robin, Dark Pit, Shulk, Bayonetta, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina & Luma
Round 2 (2006-2001): Lucario, Lucas, Ike, Zero Suit Samus, Toon Link, Bowser Jr., Roy, Olimar, Villager
Round 3 (1998-1994): Ganondorf, Sheik, Cloud, Jigglypuff, Charizard, Pikachu, Mewtwo, Diddy Kong, Ness
Round 4 (1993-1991): Meta Knight, Falco, Fox, Wario, King Dedede, Kirby, Sonic
Round 5 (1990-1986): Captain Falcon, Yoshi, Dr. Mario, Marth, Mega Man, Ryu, Palutena, Pit
Round 6 (1986-1984): Samus, Zelda, Link, Bowser, Peach, R.O.B., Duck Hunt Duo
Round 7 (1984-1980): Little Mac, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Mario, Pac-Man, Mr. Game & Watch

Villager has two Animal Crossing stages in the Wii U version, that is Town and City and Smashville, I don't know if there is any point in Smashville being in this game when Town and City is a very similar stage to begin with. For other stages you fight Villager and other characters that debuted in 2006-2001, those stages are Mario Circuit, Pyrosphere, Castle Siege, Garden of Hope, and Pirate Ship, and in the 3DS version, the stages are 3D Land, Tortimer Island, and Distant Planet, I do like Tortimer Island as a stage, it is one of my favourites in the 3DS version, and even in Ultimate. Another thing about Villager is that all of Villager's alternate costumes can appear in All-Star Mode, making Villager one of two characters where all alternate costumes can appear, the other being Bowser Jr., where the Koopalings can appear instead.
Villager's Final Smash is Dream Home, in the European version, the Final Smash is called Housewarming Party, and Tom Nook builds a home and after completing it, the house explodes, launching any foes trapped in it, and Isabelle does get a similar Final Smash in Ultimate, the difference is the Town Hall is built instead of a house.
