The next character I pick for Classic Mode is Donkey Kong, the second heaviest character in the game, second to Bowser. As I am more used to Donkey Kong in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to this game, you might see me having a hard time using him, this is because Donkey Kong does not get super armour for most of his moves, well he does for Giant Punch when fully charged, but he doesn't for Headbutt, his side special.
Going over Classic Mode, in Rounds 1 to 3, you go up against characters using their default costume, in Rounds 4 and 5, you fight characters that use alternate costumes and custom moves, in Round 6, you go up against the Fighting Mii Team, and depending on the Intensity, you fight Master Hand and Crazy Hand, or just Master Hand himself, or against Master Core on a higher difficulty, the starting form based on the Intensity played.
Then to go over Donkey Kong's custom moves, as this is the only game to have custom moves, and first up is Giant Punch, his neutral special, the first variant is Lightning Punch, which charges up much faster, but the difference is the attack is weaker and Donkey Kong does not get super armour when using it, and the second variant is Storm Punch, which charges faster and is less powerful, and it creates a whirlwind that blows opponents away. His side special is Headbutt, and for the first variant, it is Jumping Headbutt, where Donkey Kong jumps before headbutting, and it buries opponents for a shorter time, and the second variant is Stubborn Headbutt, which is stronger, but slower, and Donkey Kong gains super armour when using it. Next is Spinning Kong, his up special, and the first custom variant is Chopper Kong, where Donkey Kong launches upward, and the move does not deal damage, so it's better for recovery, and the other variant is Kong Cyclone, where Donkey Kong creates a tornado that sucks in opponents in all directions, and then launches his opponents on the last hit, and Donkey Kong gains super armour when using it. Then for Hand Slap, Donkey Kong's down special, which can be used in the air starting from this game, the first variant is Focused Slap, which sends smaller shockwaves, but it can stun opponents and launch them, and the second custom variant is Hot Slap, which creates flame pillars that can hit opponents even in the air, and it has less range than normal.
