The next character I use for Classic Mode is Robin, and I remember back when Chrom was a highly requested character for this game, and when the reveal trailer for Robin, which did also confirm Lucina to be playable, and it even confirmed the return of Captain Falcon as well, guess Chrom will get another chance someday, and he got to be part of Robin's Final Smash, and then came Ultimate, and Chrom finally got to be a playable character. Robin is very unique to other Fire Emblem characters, he does not have a Counter for his down special, and he uses magic attacks, although that can be a disadvantage, because if used too often, Robin will be unable to use them for a while, and his Levin Sword can become a Bronze Sword if used too often.
Then to go over Classic Mode, in Rounds 1 to 3, you fight characters that use their default costumes, in Rounds 4 and 5, you fight characters that use their alternate costumes, in Round 6, you fight against the Fighting Mii Team, and in the final round, you fight against Master Hand, or on a higher Intensity, you fight Crazy Hand as well, or on an even higher Intensity, you fight Master Core.
Then Robin's custom moves, as this is the only game in the series to have custom moves, his neutral special is Thunder, when charged, becomes Elthunder, then Arcthunder, and then Thoron. The first custom variant is Thunder+, which has a longer charge time, taking five seconds to reach Thoron, but it uses up more durability points, it is stronger but slower. The second custom variant is Speed Thunder, which takes two seconds to reach Thoron, and it travels faster, but it is weaker, and when charged to Thoron, it will only hit once, it uses up the same amount of durability points as Thunder, but it takes 10 seconds for the tome to respawn, and another thing to note, if Kirby copies Robin and uses up Thunder, Kirby discards the Copy Ability. Robin's side special is Arcfire, which uses up to 6 uses, and 10 seconds for the tome to respawn, the first custom variant is Arcfire+, which takes longer to cast, and the fireballs explodes when it makes contact with an opponent, and the other variant is Fire Wall, where Robin creates a pillar of fire in front of him which can be used to guard against attacks, and it is casted faster. Robin's up special is Elwind, which he can use up to 9 times, and it has a 6 second cooldown, the first custom variant is Soaring Elwind, the first gust of wind does not propel Robin very far, the second one sends him up much higher, making it better for recovery, and the second variant is Gliding Elwind, where the first gust of wind is fired at an angle, and the second straight up, and they deal less damage. Then Robin's down special, Nosferatu, where he can heal himself when it connects, it can be used up to 4 times, and it takes 40 seconds to respawn, the first custom variant is Distant Nosferatu, which is used on opponent father away from Robin, but it is less powerful than normal, and the other custom variant is Goetia, which is more powerful than Nosferatu, but it does not heal, and it takes longer to start up the move, it pulls in opponents before attacking them.
When Robin uses his Final Smash, Pair Up, this fully replenishes all of Robin's weapons, and while he is quite slow, he is all about attacking from a distance, and the weapon durability system is kind of a drawback to using Robin. Another bit of trivia is Robin is the only playable Fire Emblem character to not have a counterattack, and I did read that the counterattack is based on the turn-based system in the Fire Emblem games, and while this is true in this game, in Ultimate, Byleth does not have a counterattack.
