I use Wii Fit Trainer to go through Classic Mode in this video, and she is one of the most unexpected new character additions to this game, if there was a list of unexpected characters, Wii Fit Trainer is one of the characters that I would put on the list, another character I can see on that list is Duck Hunt Duo, and Piranha Plant in Ultimate. Wii Fit Trainer does have a male variant of the character, this is the only character that has both a male and female variant where the female is the default character.
As with Classic Mode, in Rounds 1 to 3, you fight characters in their default costumes, in Rounds 4 and 5, you fight characters in their alternate costumes, in Round 6, you fight against the Fighting Mii Team, and in the final round, you fight Master Hand, on Intensity 3.0 or higher, you fight Crazy Hand as well, and on an even higher Intensity, you fight against Master Core.
Next is Wii Fit Trainer's custom moves, as this is the only game in the series to have custom moves, her neutral special is Sun Salutation, when fully charged, it heals Wii Fit Trainer by 2%, making it good projectile option for Wii Fit Trainer. The first custom variant for her neutral special is Enriched Sun Salutation, the energy ball is smaller and is more powerful, but it does not heal Wii Fit Trainer when fully charged, the other variant is Sweeping Sun Salutation, the energy ball is blue and moves slower, it hits multiple times and pushes opponents away, similar to the Drill item. Wii Fit Trainer's side special is Header, which is called Heading in Europe, the first custom variant for that move is Huge Header, or Over-Pumped Football in Europe, the ball is larger, but it is slower and deals less damage, the other variant is Weighted Header, or Weighted Football, the ball is heavier and faster, but it has less range. Wii Fit Trainer's up special is Super Hoop, the first variant of that move is Jumbo Hoop, which doesn't go as high, the hoops are larger and have better range, and the other is Hoop Hurricane, which pulls in opponents while Wii Fit Trainer is rising, and it hits opponents up to five or six times. Then her down special is Deep Breathing, this move powers up Wii Fit Trainer's moves, and if you get the timing, it heals Wii Fit Trainer by a little bit, the first variant of that move is Volatile Breathing, which creates an explosion around Wii Fit Trainer, it does not power up her moves or heal her, and the other variant is Steady Breathing, which gives Wii Fit Trainer super armour, but it has a longer recharge time, and it heals 5% damage instead of 2%.
Wii Fit Trainer isn't one of my best characters to use, I don't like how her forward smash doesn't have good range, as it requires her to be very close to her opponents to get a hit in, and I do like using Deep Breathing to power up her moves, and using Sun Salutation to get in an attack, as that is a good projectile move, and both moves heal Wii Fit Trainer when used successfully.
