[PROOF OF CONCEPT; NOT PERFECT]

I believe that I'm the first person to try this in all of video games alongside Smash Bros. in general. It isn't perfect, obviously, but this is just a proof-in-concept to see if it could be done. And as it turns out, it can. It just requires a bunch of set up. I'll try to explain it all here.

I was able to get all the different camera angles by Dolphin's Free Look Mode, which allows you to change the camera angle independent of the game by right clicking and moving the mouse. One would assume that getting precise camera angles with the mouse would be impossible, but I was able to use a feature within Windows that allows the mouse to be controlled with the number pad. Even though I could control the rotation reliably, I still had to rotate it one press at a time. According to my calculations, it takes approximately 900 key-presses on my mouse settings to make one full rotation on the X-Axis and Y-Axis, with each individual degree in a circle/sphere taking 2.5 key-presses. With that, I was able to reliably rotate the camera in the correct positions to record.

To edit this, I had to make a custom project in Adobe Premiere to line up all the video correctly, and then re-size it in the final output. I then had to inject custom data to tell Youtube that it's a 360° video. For some reason, normal 360° video stitching software didn't stitch my videos, so I had to improvise in Premiere. That's why there's some errors with the video placement, but it will improve if I do this again.

The reason why it's black on the top and bottom is because I didn't record the top and bottom angles. It would take almost 3 times as long (Recording 24 separate shots instead of the 8 that I did) and even more complex video editing.
