31In today’s video I will be showing you the fastest way to unlock all playable characters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch.

Follow the steps below.
1. You must create and play a 10 minute match. You don’t have to win the match, and technically you can just sit the controller down until time runs out.
2. After the 10 minutes are over, a new challenger message will appear.
3. Play against the new challenger, and beat them to add them to your roster. During the screen where it says the newly defeated challenger has “joined the party” hit the home button and close the game. This MUST be done during this screen showing the challenger you just defeated.
4. When you get back in the game, go directly to create a new match, and create a 1 stock 2-player match, make one player run off the edge.
5. Again right after you beat the newest challenger. You have to return to the switch home screen, close the software, and then re open the game, to repeat step #4 all over again. If you mess up or close out of a “Joins the battle” screen before you hit the home button, you must start over a step #1 again.
6. If you lose a battle against a new challenger, return to the switch home screen before the match screen actually ends, and you can repeat step number #4 again. Or you have the other option of fighting them in the challenger rematch area, but then you would have to start over at step #1 to get more challengers to appear.
