I use Ganondorf against another player, who uses Link in this battle, and of all the stages to get picked, it had to be Brinstar Depths. The downside to using Ganondorf is he doesn't jump very high, and his Dark Dive and Flame Choke don't have good range when it comes to recovery, which does hold him back, as his slow speed is a disadvantage.
Another downside is getting Brinstar Depths, which means Kraid is here to rotate the stage, it wasn't till this game that I noticed that if Kraid uses his right arm to attack, the stage will rotate clockwise, I don't think I have noticed it in Melee, probably due to it being updated.
