To tie in with the release of the most recent DLC update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, there is a new Online Tourney called Tools of the Trade. As this ties in with Steve from Minecraft, characters that use tools or items to battle, so that's like guns, bombs, and many other types of tools, so there are a variety of characters that can be used for this one.
Here are the following characters that can be selected for this Tourney:
Mario, Link, Samus, Dark Samus, Fox, Luigi, Ness, Peach, Daisy, Sheik, Falco, Young Link, Mr. Game & Watch, Pit, Dark Pit, Zero Suit Samus, Snake, Diddy Kong, Lucas, Sonic, King Dedede, R.O.B., Toon Link, Wolf, Villager, Mega Man, Wii Fit Trainer, Pac-Man, Bowser Jr., Duck Hunt Duo, Inkling, Simon, Richter, King K. Rool, Isabelle, Joker, Banjo & Kazooie, Byleth, Steve

A large selection of characters for this one, it has the most characters of any Online Tourney so far, not counting any where you can use the full roster, and it does have the usual Online Tourney rules, it is 2 minutes and 30 seconds for each battle, Final Smash Meter is turned on, and Items are set to Medium.
After a bit of decision on which character to use, I decided to try Mega Man for this one. While it was only 8 players, I did like how each of us used different characters and not repeat ones, and while there was a bit of lag in the first one, that Lucas in the first match would use a lot of special moves, and like with all other previous Online Tourney events, you earn a Spirit based on your placement.
While every stage can appear in this Online Tourney, the ones that appeared were Pilotwings and Venom, while not bad for stages, we did have a previous Online Tourney that only allowed pilots and vehicles for the theme, and to get two stages for that theme, this does remind me of that. I have not yet seen any DLC stages appear anytime I have done an Online Tourney.
