Difficulty: Normal on version 1.0 (Hard was added on the first update)
Spirits: No primary/support
Skill tree: On, not everything unlocked but notable skill includes +1 Mid-air and landing lag reduction level 1.

I played through 90% of the game by NOT using any spirits at all, there were some fights that were either mandatory or optional that I did use spirts for if the conditions were 9.9/10 not in my favour such as Giant Zapfish inside the powerplant (Single platform, electric terrain + Giant Pikachu).

Rathalos wasn't terrible but the challenge is to not get hit if your damage percentage is high.
