Surviving the Aftermath got its first big update. Obviously, the biggest change is the introduction of sustainability through resource extractors. They pose as an unlimited source for metal, concrete and plastic. Let's check it out.
Side remark: A possibility to prevent (slooooooooooow) world map animations was introduced a little bit earlier. They can be avoided by switching to the colony and back to the world map.

My opinion of this episode:
The game is too easy now. Disasters are almost non-existent now. Food is no problem at all, water may be a problem if the colony gets really big.
Furthermore, you now change automatically to the world map, when you zoom out too far in your Ccolony. (Hint: you can turn this off in the settings)
I show new technologies and building as they are unlocked.
I found out that you don't need to assign workers to fields when the crop is in the growing status.
Spoiler: I built the first extractors in the 3rd episode.
