The internet defines Afanc as: "a lake monster from Welsh mythology. Its exact description varies; it is described variously as resembling a crocodile, beaver or dwarf-like creature, and is sometimes said to be a demon."

It stood to reason that this vicious beast would be the subject of my spooky, All Souls Day episode of Purely Scientific Review. As the review does take place amongst the backdrop of the idyllic welsh country side!

Alright viewer, you've got me, this wasn't originally my All Souls Day spectacular. It was intended as an All Hollows Eve episode, as that is the Holiday that is more closely associated with spooks and/or ghouls. However, I got really sick, I had the flu and was unable to hunch over my laptop for hours at a time editing this stupid nonsense.

Alright! You got me again you tricky viewer. I had a butt sickness! All sorts of dark and terrible things came forth of the bowels of my, well, bowels... Is this gross? I find that this kind of butt illness talk tends to rub people the wrong way. That was also the wrong expression to use. No one wants to hear "butts" and "rub the wrong way" in the same sentence. For that, viewer, I truly apologize.

Please enjoy this latest manifestation of my extreme loneliness.
