Switch Starlink: Battle for Atlas DDE G23, 1P gameplay, Final Fox McCloud vs Cash battle!
Continuing where I left off, I engage the already damaged Prime. But the Legion unit turned out to have some tricks up it's sleeve! Vid timeline:
(0:00) Main Campaign: (Damaged Prime).
Prime Time: Destroy the Prime.
Engaging the already damaged Legion Prime.
Thought I had the upper hand when I caused it to fall back and away from it's Cyclops support. Wrong. Instead, it reinforced itself with heavy energy laser weaponry and a missile attack that thru me off balance!
Couldn't pull myself together in time. And as a result, I got taken down, respawning at...
(2:18) A Wolf in Atlas: (Cash's fighter screen).
Cash and the Boys: Destroy the turrets on the base.
Against Cash's fighter screen.
I respawned back at Cash's base, so decided to take case of business before returning to Sonatus. I take out fighter after fighter...
(22:49) A Wolf in Atlas: (Turrets and Cash fight).
Cash and the Boys: Destroy the turrets on the base, Defeat Cash and his Outlaws.
Going for broke with Peppy Hare.
Realizing the fighters will just keep spamming, I went all out and took the turrets on the ship. I figured finally realized that the trick was to launch a direct attack instead of being more cautious.
The turrets, altrought heavily armed, lacked strong armor. It was something that caught me off guard. Together with Peppy Hare, we took them out quickly. Oh well, now I know how to deal with them in the future.
Their destruction triggered the launch of Cash himself. He won the fight, taking me out 3 times before I could take him out. His ship was very power all round. Perhaps I could have used more effective weaponry?
(37:31) A Wolf in Atlas: (Entering base).
Cash and the Boys: Enter Cash base, Investigate the strange machine, Leave the base.
With all treats removed, but not after dying multiple times, I enter Cash base feeling less than victorious.
The way in was booby trapped by Magnet Mines. Once passed that, we scanned equipment that gave us clues about Wolf intentions and location...
But, become I can continue my pursue, I have unfinished business at Sonatus in the form of a Prime. Let's us see f I can salvage some of my prime by this time taking it out without dying...
