Found out about this game and gave the demo a try. The platforming from the throwing and returning sword and dashing to the blade is fun once you get the hang of it.

The skeletal spirit will tell you if you have died to come back after 500 deaths. That takes pretty sizeable amount of time to do even immediately walking into thorns and unfortunately the game crashed when I was in the 200-300 range, so I can't really show what you get.

The cartographer moves to the second spot only if you kill the bridgekeeper.

There's also a lot of potential to skip things as the first key can be ignored by just pulling yourself up the walls. Watching speedrunners do stuff with this game would be impressive.
