The Dark Side of the Moon Playthrough - Save Your Children From a God-Like Alien Screwing With You
27A full playthrough of The Dark Side of the Moon without commentary and with Ending 3. One morning your children has gone missing and with the help of a conspiracy theorist hacker you learn about the alien conspiracy behind their abduction and the upcoming solar eclipse. And that your only hope of success lies in a godlike alien making obvious villain mistakes for the sake of screwing with you.
It's been a long time since I played a FMV adventure game (the last one being Gabriel Knight 2 so long ago). I overall enjoyed the game and particularly liked Rupert Booth's performance as Gedeon (over the top performances I generally find very entertaining).
There are some flaws with the game. The biggest problem is that the inability to make manual saves prevents easy returning to earlier points to try different options for the other endings or achievements. Most problematic, there's one choice that ends with Dean's death, ending your playthrough and deleting your save. There's also some headscratchers about the story itself that don't seem adequately explained (however, I haven't unlocked Ending 1 yet which may explain more). This game is also a bit puzzle light, often meaning you check locations/call people/examine stuff until you find the next thing to progress. A playthrough will likely be 2-3 hours (skipping scenes cuts that time down significantly).
