Update: Mike Diskett, who as I mentioned was the lead programmer of Syndicate, has begun a Kickstarter to create a true sequel to Syndicate Wars. He has cleverly entitled it Satellite Reign. Here's their page if you want to contribute!

Update: Syndicate Wars is now available from GOG.com, so now everyone can see how awesome it was! And because it runs through DOSBox, Mac OS X users can play it too.

In this video blog I discuss Syndicate Wars, a game released by Bullfrog Productions for the DOS platform in 1996. Syndicate Wars is a direct sequel to Syndicate and updates the game to a fully 3D environment. It allows you to play as the classic Eurocorp Syndicate or as the Church of the New Epoch, with the story line differing based on who you pick.

If you have an original CD, Syndicate Wars is relatively easy to get running using DOSBOX.

There was also a PlayStation version of Syndicate Wars, but I've never played it. It is currently available on the PlayStation Network.
