System Shock 2 Part 43:Hitting a Nerve
0We continue our exploration inside the many (yes, inside the actual body) as we are trying desperately to find an exit. It turns out that, in order to get some passageways to open, you have to destroy a never cluster. I do find it cool that it makes sense (hitting a nerve and causing a reaction), even if it is horrifying disgusting. I will hand it to these guys; they sure make an interesting game. I thought most of this game would be on a space station and didn't expect to be crawling around a giant freaking creature that is trying to kill me. There are two things I don't understand about this level; 1)There are giant, hulking creatures and spiders within the body and 2) I still don't know what the giant white pillars that raise up and down could possibly be; The best explanation is that it's teeth (but there is no mouth) or bones (but it would hurt to have the bones pulsating within your body, right? Those two things are the only thing I have to question about this level though; I think that says a lot about me more than anything.
