SYSTEM SHOCK REMASTERED GAMEPLAY RELEASED
Gameplay previews have been released regarding the remaster of System Shock 1, a reboot designed to keep the aesthetics and experience of System Shock while re-imagining it for a modern audience. The pre-alpha gameplay showed some very familiar settings with significant graphical improvements. The project will be supported through Kickstarter.

WARCRAFT 3 PATCHED
Blizzard has been hard at work updating its legacy titles; Diablo 2 was modernized last week and Warcraft 3 has recently gone live with Patch 1.27a. The new patches are primarily compatibility patches, aimed at making the games easier to play on newer systems.

TRIALS ON TATOOINE
Virtual reality keeps hitting the headlines. Lucasfilm has recently released a trailer highlighting a new virtual reality experience designed to put fans of the Star Wars franchise into the role of a Jedi. Described as a “cinematic experience,” it appears to be an on-rails motion-based game… with lightsabers.

PROFESSOR LAYTON
Finally, fans are mourning the death of Akira Tago, the puzzle designer for the beloved series Professor Layton. The original Professor Layton games were known for their clever and devious puzzles, which many fans felt were watered down following his departure from the IP.
