Apparently the Sword Rains and Demon Fangs from their duel weren't enough, so Chloe rears back and gives Senel a big ole' SONIC THRUST to the abdomen, leaving him for dead. As she leaves for the Forest of No Return, Shirley finds and heals Senel, enough so the party can chase after her. When they finally catch up, Elsa defends her father who's about to be defeated, and a shadowy version of the young, neglected Chloe comes out and attempts to destroy the party's attempts at saving their friend from her blind revenge.

This is probably the toughest of the Dark battles, and even though we just fought Chloe this isn't any easier with 4 people. Like the other battles, I fought fire with fire, which is probably a bit more difficult since Senel has an easier job at breaking through guards than Chloe (Sword Rain's individual hits are pretty weak). Anyway this battle gave me some problems since I usually make it easier with Chloe's counter Prima Donna. Unfortunately, the game doesn't allow you to set up artes after the Chloe battle since she is just now rejoining the party -_-.

Anyway, Dark Chloe is basically Chloe on steroids. She's quick, strong, and unrelentless for the most part. She can easily rip through the party's defenses without batting an eyelash. Using Chloe means that I lack the direct access to a moving skill like Wyrm Rush, so attacking is based on tacticul movements and placement instead of spamspamspam. Still, D.Chloe doesn't stagger much at all, so the whole party got thrown around alot.

This is what happens when you spam holy bottles in the dungeons. It's essentially the same fight as the last boss, but its just consideringly more difficult since Dark Chloe doesnt let up. It took me a few times to get a good take since I still had Cold Blood Rush (which didn't work AT ALL in this fight), but if you got through the Chloe battle then getting through this shouldn't take too long....hopefully.....
