The first encounter with Chronos is fairly straightforward: his moveset is rather limited at the first (just Tetra Assault and Collider for melee, Tetra Spell and Haste for spells), he doesn't have much Iron Stance, no aerial counters aside from Overlimit, no air recovery and his knockdown recovery timer is abnormally long. He doesn't have any weaknesses though so Power Charge is mandatory to start a weakness combo, unless you play along with his Trinity Bit gimmick below 50% HP.
So, best outcome is that Chronos chooses to cast Tetra Spell or goes for a Tetra Assault + spell so I can fully charge while dodging the incoming attack with a sidestep. It's important to always sidestep Assault to the right, because going to the left would get you hit by the back hitbox of the second slash (of course it has one lol).
Dodging another Assault gives me the opportunity to use Calamity Stance to break his Iron Stance but there's an issue with this. Only the second hits does so. Chronos can act again before that happens and his options includes another Assault (unavoidable), retreating to cast Tetra Spell/Haste (second hit would miss) or using Collider (whose hitbox appears at frame 0 and doesn't disappear even if Chronos is interrupted). And that's exactly what I want! It turns out the best way of avoiding Collider in this situation is... standing still? I'm unsure about how or why this works but I assume that, since Calamity Stance launches Chronos before completing the move, the full hitbox of Collider doesn't appear, it's only partial. There IS still a hitbox, make no mistake, and using Demon Fang too early or simply moving forward would result in taking a hit.
There isn't much to note about the initial part of the combo although Chronos being a floating, somewhat slim target can make Exalted Divide miss entirely at point-blank range.
Near the end, Dragon Swarm is extended on purpose to knock Chronos down for the third time and trigger OTG Limit. A full Light of Ruin can break his renewed Iron Stance and then a frontstep is used to time Demon Fang, which hits in sync with the final hit of Light of Ruin, overriding its knockback and allowing the combo to continue seamlessly! A Hydra stun followed by a max multiplier Incineration Wave seal the deal.
