Tarzan VR Review, New Oculus Quest Games & Oculus Quest 2 NEEDS Competition! / PLUS New Dead Space?
276Lets chat about that new Tarzan VR Oculus Quest release (this one's gonna be painful, my full Tarzan VR review & some Tarzan VR gameplay right here), the new Oculus Quest games / new Oculus Quest 2 games coming new week, the strange lack of competition for the Oculus Quest 2 (are any new VR headsets coming out going to challenge Oculus?) and finally about the brand new Bloober Team Silent Hill rumour & the Dead Space 4 / new Dead Space remake rumours. It's time for some VR news/gaming news to round out the week.
I've always toyed with the idea of doing a weekly chatty video like this to summarise the VR news & gaming news of each week, I usually reach Friday with a bunch of opinions about goings on within the industry and it's nice to share that with like minded people. Let me know in the comments down below if this format or style of video is something you'd like to see more on the channel, it doesn't have to be just VR either, I'm always happy to do a general gaming round up at the end of each week/every other week.
Today we'll be talking about:
- TARZAN VR REVIEW / TARZAN VR QUEST 2 REVIEW: Oh dear, he may be king of the jungle but this game might just be king of shovelware! A terrible port of a decent PC VR game bumbled it's way onto the Quest 2, is it worth it?
- NEW OCULUS QUEST GAMES NEXT WEEK: Next week looks like it's going to be the best Oculus Quest / Oculus Quest 2 release week for a little while now with both Sniper Elite VR & Sam and Max VR launching onto the store.
- WHERE IS THE COMPETITION?: At the start of 2021 I was certain HTC were going to make a move on the standalone consumer VR market that Oculus is happily dominating right now, however we're into July now and I'm wondering; Are there any new VR headsets coming out soon that will take Facebook & Oculus head on?
- A NEW SILENT HILL? AND A NEW DEAD SPACE GAME?: It seems as though the Blue Box Games theories led to nothing but fear not, horror experts Bloober Team look set to resurrect Silent Hill after a deal was announced with Konami whilst EA have been teasing a possible Dead Space 4 / New Dead Space remake for the past few weeks culminating in the Dead Space YouTube channel being updated for the first time in 8 years. Is mainstream horror about to get A LOT busier?
