Happy Pride Month, y'all!
I get inspired to check out ZZT games after reading watching streams from authorblues and reading Anna Anthropy's book about ZZT. Turns out, there's a lot of extremely cool stuff to check out that's accessible with lots of modern tools. Atop the Witch's Tower is short but cute ZZT game by John Thyer who was inspired by Anthropy's book.
In 2023, asie made a WonderSwan Color port of the ZZT engine, with Thyer's work as the first one ported to the system. I definitely recommend playing the game for yourselves since there's a lot of extra details and interactions that are simply skipped in this TAS.
