Tata unveils All- new Safari 2021 The latest Tata SUV
6Tata Motors has recently unveiled its popular SUV, Tata Safari 2021. The production of the SUV has started at Tata's Pune plant and the first unit was rolled out of its assembly line.Tata Safari 2021 will be officially launched on January 26 and will start booking in the month of February.Tata Safari's design is based on the Tata's in house Impact 2.0 Design language. It has taken clues from Land Rover D8 inspired OMEGARC platform.Tata Safari 2021 will be powered by a 2.0-litre, 4 cylinder diesel engine. This engine will churn out a maximum power of 168bhp and a healthy 350 Nm of peak torque. The engine will be mated to a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter gearbox.
A1.5-litre turbo petrol engine can be offered at a later stage.Tata Safari 2021 will have three rows of seating and is based on Tata Harrier. The Safari can be seen sporting Tata's tri-arrow grille, a stepped roof along with an upright tailgate. The interior design is expected to be similar to that of Tata Harrier.
Tata Safari 2021 is expected to be priced around Rs. 14 - Rs. 21 Lakh (ex-showroom). Tata Safari 2021 will be competing against Mahindra's XUV 500 and MG Hector Plus.Tata Motors has formally rolled out the first unit of the seven-seater SUV Tata Safari 2021 from its Pune manufacturing plant. The latest Tata SUV will arrive in showrooms and dealerships across the country in January and bookings begin shortly.
