Turrets (tower defense) have always been associated with nostalgia for my childhood - so long ago I last launched a game in this genre. Then it was a set of successive levels with a gradation of difficulty, and if you can’t pass the level, then you start it again and, already knowing what waves are going there, you change your strategy.

TD World is a game of the same genre, but presented in a completely new way. She is always unpredictable, hardcore in her own way and does not let you relax. The strategy here is based not on the different arrangement of towers, since the places for them are limited, and not on the variety of towers (it exists, but appears over time and the choice goes on the base before the game), but on a huge set of interesting improvements to the base tower.

I will briefly describe the features of the game and the gameplay:
I don’t specifically divide them into pros and cons, since everyone will perceive the points in their own way
Passing the level, you get a choice of improvements to the base tower, currency, and sometimes the opportunity to go to the store and spend it. If you lose a level, you will have to start everything (absolutely everything!) From the beginning and collect a new set of improvements, more and more functionality opens up in the process of passing
Based on the previous paragraph, the following follows - you can complete the game completely (until the last world) only without dying even once
Each world has its own set of levels of varying difficulty, and each passage you get to random levels from the set
At the levels, places for towers are limited, it will be up to you to choose where to put the towers in the first place, the set of improvements you have chosen earlier and the rest of your lives
A simple interface due to its uncomplicated genre, it was not cluttered with a bunch of tips on functionality, at first not everything is intuitive, but you quickly and without explanations understand what's what
Also, in the process of passing, you get acquainted with the whole large pool of improvements that you can get, and over time, more and more ideas on how to combine them for a new passage, and somewhere in the middle of the game, a choice of a base tower with unique characteristics will be available.
There is a system of tests-quests, for the implementation of which between passages they give improvements
The game has a plot, characters, dialogues and pleasant music, which perfectly dips into a relaxing atmosphere.

Conclusion:

Everyone will make it for himself based on what exactly he expects from a TD game. My own thoughts are this: the game is definitely worth a look because of its zest, in its genre is very unusual. I expected more free space for building towers, in order to think, among other things, where they are more profitable, where they are generally useless, and a whole arsenal of towers of different costs with unique abilities
But the absence of this did not disappoint me, it's always worth trying something new, a large number of improvements opens up many strategy options and makes each playthrough unique.
Although I wrote that the functionality becomes clear over time, nevertheless, some features, "rules" and features of the game should be explained right away, many buttons are just pictures that you press blindly and only then you understand what it meant

I have not yet been able to go beyond the beginning of the second world, and there are three of them, also judging by the achievements, some hats, pets and other goodies will still appear in the game, while they are a mystery to me, but this suggests that the game is all still will and will surprise you and show interesting goodies even after many attempts to pass.

The game is definitely made with soul and worth it to try it out, go for it!
