TDL(仮) Game Sample - PC/Doujin
TDL(仮)is a pretty odd game. Actually, TDL is just a tentative title and the author even states that the abbrevation doesn't really even stand for anything...in this game. It does, however, bring up a lot of stuff for "Tokyo Disney Land", and you'll probably see some of it on the right side of this video for "related videos". This is another video in the vein of Lunatic Bellvet or Brave Hearts for us; it's for an incomplete game. The author states that he/she is working on it very slowly (as of this typing) and it currently has "five" characters.
One of the five characters (the man on the far right, whose name is Napple) has been disabled in this most recent version of the game for whatever reason, but was playable in earlier versions. He was accompanied by a young girl and you can see his sprite (as well as the little girl) on the homepage of the creator's site in various colors.
Interestingly, one character is Asuka Kudou, who makes an appearance in the doujin fighting game, Zero Fighters. Zero Fighters was created by the people who brought you games like Breakers Special 09 and Breakers Special Max. Asuka originated in this game from my understanding.
It has the potential to be really cool, but like many incomplete fighters, it's incomplete, lol. You can choose between Assault and Buster fighting styles. Assault allows you to chain ordinary strikes in succession, but you can't use the truly powerful super moves. Buster is supposed to be the "simple" mode where you can't chain many attacks in succession, but have a wider range of super moves. You can also access a "Limit Break", where your attacks deal more damage, but once the bar is empty, you lose access to any and all super moves for the duration of the battle, not just the round. If you are fighting for three rounds and used the Limit Break on the first round, you can't do super moves for the other two rounds. Truthfully, a skilled player can probably get more out of Buster mode than Assault, as shown here. However, characters with really slow moves or with charge moves (like Asuka) don't really benefit too much from Buster...or Assault really. Honestly, Asuka is a much cooler fighter in Zero Fighters...she's also not a charge character in Zero Fighters either. You know what? I usually hate charge characters and Asuka is no exception in this game...although her Zodiac super moves are very cool looking in this game.
We use Gakuto Misugi, who seems quite a bit like Last Blade's Kaede (except significantly cooler) against two opponents.
You can find the game at:

Scroll down to the table and click the object that says "24.5MB". It may be a little hard spotting it because the text is the same color as all the other text like it for whatever reason. Enjoy.
