The Ham Shank is a community-created promotional melee weapon for all classes, except Engineer and Spy. It is a large, jiggleboned chunk of ham with a bone stuck inside, which is used as a handle.
This weapon functions identically to the wielder's default melee weapon.
The Ham Shank was awarded in Genuine quality to players who pre-purchased Don't Starve on Steam before April 23rd, 2013.
The Ham Shank was contributed to the Steam Workshop, at Valve's request.
