Tekken Ball is a minigame featured in Tekken 3 and returned in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U edition. The aim of the minigame is to deplete the opponent's health bar, either by landing the ball on the ground of the opponent's half of the arena or striking the opponent with the ball.
A ball can be "charged" to deal more damage, with the strength of charge increasing with each strike of the ball. The higher the charge of the ball, the faster it moves and the more damage it deals until, at full charge, the ball catches fire and burns the player it hits to deal a large amount of damage. The strength of charge on the ball is displayed in a meter at the bottom of the screen. Damage dealt also depends on the ball used: there are three types of ball to choose from, with each dealing varying amounts of damage to the opponent.Tekken Ball is a minigame featured in Tekken 3 and returned in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U edition. In Tekken 3, Tekken Ball mode is only available when True Ogre is unlocked and takes place in Beach Island, Gon's stage. Unblockable moves will display a ! mark and cause no damage. If the opponent is hit directly by a move or is thrown, no damage is done, however it can still cause the opponent to miss the ball.
The player starts by choosing the match ball from three different balls:
Beach Ball (Beginner): This ball does 60% of the damage of an attack used. So if the player hits the ball with an attack that usually does 25 points of damage, then the ball will only keep 15 points of damage.
Gum Ball (Expert): This time the ball does 80% of the damage of an attack used.
Iron Ball (Grandmaster): with this ball the damage of an attack used is 100%. There is no deduction of damage points.
All in all this is a strange concept with certain moves doing no damage at all and can be frustrating to work out and lead to a lot of loses very quick
there is also a secret none playable character that can show up as a opponent named crow
thanks for watching take care see you next time
