Ambient song I made starting with the schumann resonance around 33hz (ran through a limiter to protect speakers from such low frequencies)
The bass and guitar is by my friend, I did the slide guitar/keys and a bit of horns and the minimal production. Spent part of 2 days working on this, it uses a lot of stereo effects so listen with headphones or a good pair of speakers!
Keys used were the Roland JX-8P and Novation Ultranova
Used the free Golden Generator VST for the 33hz, which I doubled to 66hz~ after 5 minutes. Both were ran through a panning VST and granular delay (LaGrange VST) for some of the ambient feedback.
Recorded entirely in Audacity, using a DI mixer - PC set up for everything. The bass and guitar was recorded DI from a Carvin bass amp into the mixer, everything else was straight into the mixer and going through an FX loop.
