Terra Tech - Saturday ShowCase - Featuring Techs By Zed ep 2
17I got another batch of techs for the Saturday ShowCase that have been sent in by Zed.
He has put together a variety of techs for this one. There are flyers, fighters and a few harvesters to round the group out nicely. Pretty much everything you would need to completely supply and defend a base while having your scout on the lookout for any incoming attacks.
I think my favorite out of this group would be the small scout tech that was able to carry and effectively use a pair of cruise missiles. With a bit of time I think it would be able to take down some pretty big game.
One of the techs was built with a recent challenge in mind and with no bubbles at all I think it held up very well against the baddies I put it against. It could have done a lot better, but I have never been one to just sit back and pick an enemy apart. I like the upclose and personal kind of fight. I was doing alright until the enemy landed a lucky shot which almost brought about the end of that tech. It was only spared for a moment, but that was all the time it needed to get a last shot off.
These techs could be used quite well as a team if the AU ( artificial unintelligence ) was working better ;). It seems to fail when I need it most.
