Terraria 1.4 luck system explained in 3 minute! (luck in a nutshell)
Terraria 1.4 added some luck system!... but what that does? what is luck? Is being lucky really affect anything? If it is so, is it drastic enough to notice it? It's not 'luck' only applies to fishing like minecraft, right?...
To get luck, there's some various ways to do. From being lucky in night (yes, being lucky) to randomly 'candle night' to happen, or uno-reverse the gnomes to get lucky, or... fishing. oh god, the fishing. (REMEMBER:fishing is not a real content :P)
well, if you decided to read description, here's some detail:
You start with 0 luck (obviously). You can get range of 100% to -40% luck in terraria 1.4.0.4. Version difference may change this range, such as before 1.4.0.3, biome torches could increase your bad luck, making you could get -60% luck. luckily, this got fixed, and no longer gives you bad luck.
Basically, you gain luck by doing some action such as drinking luck potion, being near at garden gnome or biome torch that matches current biome, interacting with ladybugs, etc.
There's pretty much one way to get negative luck, which is doing bad thing with ladybugs, so if you love nature, you probably wouldn't get negative luck.
Of course, there's some other ways to get lucky/unlucky, but this is 3 minute video, and this is how you generally get lucky, so whatever. If you still want that information, you can share that in the comment section or whatever.
