Beating terraria with only an ice rod as my weapon, accessories and Armor attacks are allowed since they make the challenge much more interesting and make me try sets and accessories I've never even glanced at twice

The ice rod is the best item in the entire game, it has so much versatility and is very useful, always a first buy as soon as I get into hard mode. However, It is never used as an actual weapon even though it is considered as one. So it's time to put it to the test and see how good of a weapon it really is.
