Terraria Shadows of Abaddon: True Mode Nihilus Rematch w/ Thrower
48The reason I'm doing the rematch is because ~~I lost the original fight video~~ Nihilus gets slightly stronger after you beat him the first time. So I figured I'd show off that, and the cool accessory he drops here.
Like the Flaming Pumpkin before him, Nihilus is a quick and very intense battle. Nihilus has tons of different and very powerful attacks, all of them inflicting a powerful debuff. This fight gets very hectic later on, with huge flame pillars and projectiles going everywhere. The final phase makes everything even scarier and add more to the fray. Not to mention his insane contact damage. I love this boss, along with Erazor and Araghur, this is one of my favorite fights in the mod.

There are actually consequences to not following Erazor's advice and challenging Nihilus without Asthratitle Armor or a Relic Weapon. No weapons other than Relic Weapons can damage the Aura of Suppression, and you'll get a debuff without Asthraltite Armor that does some crazy stuff. I might have to try this without the armor sometime, that may be fun. Not sure if it will be possible, but it seems like an interesting challenge.
