EDIT: Oopsie! Messed with sound settings before recording, forgot to set them back so game audio's very quiet. Sorry about that! Terry time! Fighter 4 of our first Fighter's Pass, Terry Bogard from the Fatal Fury/King of Fighters series has arrived and he's...surprisingly fun. So of course some friends and I got together to play some matches. No synchronized taunts this time...some people just aren't team players you know?

OK so Terry, much like Ryu and Ken, adapts elements of his home series, such as cool stuff like classic stick commands for his specials and even cancelling his normal attacks into specials! When hes over 100% damage he even gains access to SUPER SPECIAL MOVES that do crazy damage...if you can do the motions! Power Geyser is even the dreaded pretzel motion! Sakurai, the madman! Oh and he auto-turns to face the opponent in a 1-1 fight but that isn't gonna come up here at all since we're in free-for-alls.

Match 1: King of Fighters Stadium
This stage is pretty neat. Adapts the walls of a traditional fighter, but the might of Smash Bros. eventually wears them down! Remember kids, walls never work...even if a certain orange nightmare claims they do.

Sure is hard to do his crazy inputs under online conditions though. Definitely a character that will struggle online the instant some input delay pops up. (Oh and I should mention...Unagi stole my color. We all agree beforehand! One of us had to change...so I switch to yellow later.)

Match 2: King of Fighters Stadium (Battlefield)

We played roughly an hour of matches alternating KOF Stadium in normal and Battlefield form...and yeah the matches get kinda samey. I like the wall gimmick but aside from that the stage is supe r flat and kinda uninteresting as a result. Here we actually have to platform in this platform fighter! Crazy!

The one thing I'm not super keen on with Terry is him having a forward AND a back special. Often times I want to turn around and do a Burning Knuckle to the opponent behind me and instead I move forward with Crack Shoot. If you're not careful that can get you killed! Or you know...a Boomerang could override the Smash attack you were about to do and cost you the game...

Match 3: Gamer

OK, mixing it up now finally...Terry's presence will continue but be less overwhelming. I sit this one out and another friend, Lombardi88, joins in. I need to go in and tone the Gamer "song" down in my options cuz it is mad weird having no music at all most of the time in this stage. I mostly kept this one for the Tiny Terry shenanigans and the ending coming down to the absolute wire.

One more Smash-related video before I go back into my hibernation. Might see some stuff sporadically but I make no promises.
