It's time. The bear and bird have finally landed, and as usual, my friends and I got together to celebrate! Sadly one down, so it's a three-way this time. Not QUITE as much Banjo as there could be...WE NEED MORE GUH-HUHS!

Banjo's notable for how...normal he seems. At least at first. He's technically a heavy guy, but Kazooie does most of the fighting for him, so she's fast and has good range. He's got some good projectiles to keep you away, three jumps and can act out of his recovery move which is nice...but the real interesting thing is Wonderwing, his side special. You get five uses per stock but the tradeoff is that it's a powerful, invincible dash forward. Only grabs can trump it, though blocking it leaves Banjo vulnerable too. Probably the most fun I've had with DLC so far. Joker's too technical for my liking and Hero's got some fun chaos but I gravitate towards Banjo more.

Match 1: Spiral Mountain

Here's a good introductory match. We're all still learning the ins and outs, as well as getting used to his stage, Spiral Mountain. True to it's name, it rotates! Which means platforms come and go and you miiiiight get motion sick. A tad snug at times but not too bad. I try to drift into my aerial grenades a lot here, trying to pop them out and grab them in one quick motion. Not sure how the pros do it!

Match 2: Balloon Fight

Uh-oh...looks like we have an intruder. I gotta be honest, it's still so surreal to see Sans in here. To have Megalovania as a song! Not uh...a huge fan of this stage to be honest though. And really, that title's clickbait...it's SANS who has the bad time here!

Match 3: Pictochat 2

OK, more Banjo! This was actually our second time on this stage in this set, but I kept this one cuz it's more interesting. And uh...I need other eyes on this but...I rolled outta the way of that Final Smash at the end, right?! I was BEHIND Jo...and then got launched towards the blast zone anyway. Not sure I agree, Sakurai!
