Tesla: (Enhanced) Autopilot vs. Full Self-Driving | What Changed!
The $35,000 version of the Model 3 brought changes to Autopilot, Enhanced Autopilot and Full Self Driving. In this video I look at the price and feature difference between the old offerings compared to the new offerings. I also cover what features are grandfathered in for existing enhanced autopilot owners, as well as the discounted price for owners to upgrade.
If you buy a new Model S, Model X or Model 3 today, it's $3,000 to add Autopilot and $5,000 for Full Self-Driving Capabilities.
You can also add Autopilot to an existing vehicle for $2,000 (originally $4,000 when purchased after vehicle delivery) and Full Self-Driving for $2,000, reduced from the original price of $5,000 when added after delivery.
Old:
- Enhanced AutoPilot: Autosteer, Auto Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Summon, Autopark, Navigate on Autopilot
- Full Self Driving: City Driving, Traffic Lights, Stop Signs
New:
- Autopilot: Autosteer, Auto Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control
- Full Self Driving: City Driving, Traffic Lights, Stop Signs, Summon, Autopark, Navigate on Autopilot
Important to note that every Tesla car comes with a few advanced features, standard: Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Forward and Side Collision Warning, and blind spot warnings.
