N.E.X.U.S., released in 1986 by Nexus Productions Ltd. for the ZX Spectrum 48K, is an ambitious arcade-adventure game that blends exploration, combat, and puzzle-solving in a narrative-driven package. Unfortunately, this game had a limited run and didn't get reviewed as it should due to Nexus productions folding in 1986. The gameplay is very interesting, it's a cross between saboteur and Mission elevator. Your mission is to enter the Nexus headquarters, locate your captured colleague and find out critical information. The game mechanics are very interesting which issues a menu based interface.
Overall, N.E.X.U.S. is a hidden gem for ZX Spectrum, think a gritty, text-heavy precursor to modern stealth-adventures like Metal Gear.
