Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis was probably the last movie licence game on the Speccy. Based on the unused script for a fourth movie installment this sees Indy return but in a 3D isometric adventure. Dr Jones must collect items, solve puzzles and take out the enemy. This all sounds great, but it's not, to call this game slow is an understatement. It's so slow it took Indy 4 seconds to jump in the air. Thank God I was able to speed the gameplay up through emulation. Even playing this at double speed was an exhausting effort.
This Speccy version should have been called Indiana Jones the Slow Motion Walking Simulator.
Do not go near the game, my temper could not take anymore of this punishment. Play the point and click version on the Amiga instead.
