TF2: Contracts Explained. Gun Mettle Skins
400The TF2 Gun Mettle Update added a campaign mode into Team Fortress 2, but how exactly does it work and what exactly can you earn? We guide you through and explain everything you need to know to get started in the Gun Mettle Campaign!
To start the campaign, you have to buy a Gun Mettle Pass from the Mann Co. store. You can then get your very own Gun Mettle Campaign Coin. After this, you will get 2 Gun Mettle contracts per week which will include a number of simple tasks such as getting head shot kills.
When you complete a Gun Mettle Contract you will unlock either a unique skin on an existing TF2 weapon or a Gun Mettle Case, which will include rarer skin weapons but requires a Gun Mettle Key to open.
The TF2 weapon skins will also have a variable degree of "wear" from Factory New to Battle-Scarred and each unique weapon will have a slightly different pattern on the skin making it completely unique from anyone else's!
