We look at the history behind several games in the class-based, objective-based and often cartoon art styled shooters. A lot of these games were called "TF2 killers" and sometimes even "TF2 clones" or rip-offs. Either way, all of these games were inspired or influenced in some way.
We cover these games in chronological release date order: Brink, (Super) Monday Night Combat, Dirty Bomb, Loadout and Overwatch, with a special mention to LawBreakers and Quake Champions.
