TF2 Matchmaking: Are Valve Reinventing the Meta?
TF2 Competitive Matchmaking is officially happening, but is it happening in the way we expect? From what we know about the beta from B4nny's streaming so far is that a lot of things may not be what we expect.
A few of the major points about the TF2 MM beta (matchmaking) are:
- No weapon or class restrictions
- Less customisation i.e. scripts
- Random crits, spread and damage are disabled
We talk about the above and more from the MM beta and how I personally believe the route Valve is taking with competitive TF2 is to try and change things... More in line with games like Overwatch.
