If you have a noticed a drop in your frames per second (FPS) since the Tough Break update, then this solution *may* work for you. Unfortunately it won't work for everyone, but it has improved performance for many!

You simply need to go into Steam and opt out of the Steam Client Beta. This will then turn off unnecessary background features of Steam which are active while you are playing a game which indirectly drain your FPS.
