DooderMcAltair presents: Meet the Huntsman featuring a special guest appearance by the Jarate

This video exists merely to show people the Huntsman, a "level 10" bow and arrow replacement for the Sniper Rifle. Also included at the end is a demonstration of the Jarate, a Submachine Gun replacement. I did not include the Razorback in this video due to both not having it and lack of interesting in displaying it.

The Razorback, not included in this video, is a tribal shield with a car battery wired onto it that allows the Sniper to withstand a single backstab without dying, and the Spy's knife must cool down before he gets to try it again. The disadvantage of using the Razorback is that it makes the Sniper run as slow as the Soldier class. Overall, it's possibly the most poorly designed and thought out of any of the new update weapons since the game's release. Gameplaywise, it does more harm than good slowing Snipers down in order to defend them ONCE against Spies, the Sniper's counter-class. Also, Spies can just as easily dispatch Snipers with their Revolvers, or better yet the new Ambassador replacement for the Revolver, when they see that big honking shield on the Sniper's back. In the process of slightly inconveniencing Spies, the Sniper is much more vulnerable to attacks as he is much slower than he usually is while carrying the shield. Also, despite the game's cartoony nature, I can't help but be irked wondering how exactly that shield is supposed to conduct electricity.

One more thing about the video: I know it's upscaled a tiny bit to HD, but it's still an overall improvement in quality over the video in its original resolution. I've learned my lesson now though and I'll make sure to record in the right resolution incase I decide to make more videos like this (The Spy's new unlocks).

PPS: The music isn't random editing, but Source Tunes radio off the server. I know other people with videos like mine either give you silence or an overdubbed track, but I like my classic rock station so get used to it.

If the game gives you an error joining a night server, just delete the map from your folder and then just let the server download this (This is useful for other custom maps too, don't forget it).
