In this video we continue our grand voyage from Gold Rock City on our Sanbuq, or Sandra as we have named her, towards our destination of Aestrin!
We start the episode in a panic after our broom went missing at the end of the last episode! We quickly discover it stuck in the rafters of the lower deck! How did that happen?!
More waves, wind, sea, highs and lows are all encountered, but no new storms. We pass through day 100 without any hint of a solar eclipse, sadly.
Many fish are caught and eaten. We continue to enjoy the new types of regional fish, the black fin hunter and the trout which are cooked up on the stove for our meals.
On day 100 we do make sight of land ahoy! Mount Malefic comes into view one sunny golden morning and it is beautiful!
We celebrate seeing land with copious amounts of rum from our bottle or hip flask!
Night falls before we get to out destination as it has done many times before, as is the way with the sun, the moon and the cosmic ballet we whiteness from our tiny vantage point.
This means, another anchor cam! We drop anchor and night and weight anchor again in the morning before heading into Fort Aestrin!
We weave ourselves through the narrow pass and under the famous landmark bridge and are presented with the glorious sight of the Brig!
We make a great impression as we dock just in front of it without crashing into the harbour wall. We sell our mission goods ( but not our trade goods ) and are left feeling quite wealthy.
The local merchants have many new wares to sell, maps, paintings, spy glasses, Aestin lanterns and others stuff that I can't wait to explore!
We have arrived in port furthest north that we have ever been before!
