Leave it to Mihoyo once again. I mean yes this event was another total filler arc of a story. Sure it's nice to know a little additional background into the Inazuma Archon Quest but was it really necessary? Probably not. And it was short too.
What was necessary and totally foreshadowing is that ending. Naturally she'd make her presence felt.
