The 25 Games of Christmas Countdown: Tecmo Bowl (1987)
5Welcome to the 25 Games of Christmas, an advent calendar countdown where I play 25 randomly themed 8 bit and 16 bit games primarily fmrom the Nintendo Entertainment System and the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Each day, leading up to Christmas, we will be playing a different game and show off some of the old times, while discussing various topics from sports teams, Christmas gifts and what have you.
While the game left out some of the more prominent NFL Teams (including the Patriots, Steelers, Packers and Bengals), Tecmo Bowl is often considered one of the best sports games of all time and the predecessor game to the Madden Franchise. Join me as I us the Los Angeles (currently in Oakland and soon to be in Las Vegas) Raiders take on the New York Giants in what hopes to be an interesting match up. PS, I'm pretty sure I have Bo Jackson on my team so I'm unbeatable right?
