Today, we are at the cusp of a new era, where AI has the potential to reshape the trajectory of global challenges as a transformative tool in our hands, from health and education to climate change and economic inequality. The AI for Good Impact Initiative is our collective intention to drive meaningful change through the implementation of RESOLUTION 214 (BUCHAREST, 2022) ‘Artificial Intelligence technologies and telecommunications/ICTs’ and build a network of supporters to help fund and resource our AI for Good activities globally.

Strategic vision:
AI for Good is currently funded by sponsors and is launching the ‘AI for Good Impact Initiative’ to scale its ongoing activities and pursue ambitious moonshots across all 17 SDGs and all regions of the world for global impact. The initiative will support projects, challenges, collaboration efforts, capacity building, learning resources and studies, regional programming, and projects carried out by the global AI for Good community. The initiative will also support and foster the participation of developing countries in AI for Good programming and initiatives.

The fund is seeking large scale contributions, in the millions [CHF], from members states, foundations, corporates, and family offices. We are seeking to ensure application of AI for Good activities across all SDGs. Our goal is to raise 20,000,000 CHF annually to achieve scale.

Objective:
Our mission is to ensure that high-potential AI for Good projects scale beyond niche use cases and are:

✅ Inclusive: Reflecting the diversity and needs of communities globally.

✅ Scalable: Growing to address pressing challenges at the pace the world requires.

✅ Repeatable: Open models that can be replicated across different regions and sectors.

✅ Measurable: Ensuring transparent, quantifiable impact that aligns with the SDGs across all regions.

✅ Sustainable: Ensuring tight alignment with all SDGs goals and targets

Contributors have the choice to direct funds to specific AI projects, SDG-focused areas, or bring their own projects that would benefit from connections and visibility within the AI for Good Community.
