The main reason why I'm doing this in Outcast instead of Academy is that the AI is slightly smarter in Outcast.
This was done through editing the source code since friendly NPCs always use the Blaster Rifle unless defined through custom scripts, for some retarded reason. Jedi Academy made a major change to this by making it so that you can decide what weapons are used by the NPCs in the .npc files.
