222Norland continues and the Unholy Horde make their first move by attacking the Kingdom of Greenspire to our West. It looks like there might be quite a lot of them but some other Kings have sent troops to help so Betty bravely marches off with our warriors to see if she can help turn the tide of the battle, because if it Greenspire does fall it looks like we might be next in line...
Back in Cupboardia we find ourselves struggling for the basics, such as food, beer and gold. We don't seem to have a good enough economy to produce much money so we can't buy in anything, including the holy rings that all the Noble characters seem totally obsessed with!
Bernard has to turn on the charm again, this time to both impress the people of Brightvale to get them to join our alliance and also to impress Orsa and Nika to try to convince them to stay on as Lords rather than quit and take all of their expertise with them.
Also we start growing hops, young Geek learns how to read and one of our Nobles is injured by a surprise wolf attack...

Norland is a medieval kingdom sim inspired by Rimworld and Crusader Kings that generates complex stories.
Manage a noble family that owns a city populated by dozens of characters from different classes: from aristocrats to peasants, soldiers to criminals. Absorb knowledge and technology from books, rewrite them, or create entirely new ones.
Build the production chains, raise the population, pay wages, put prices on the domestic market, and trade with incoming caravans.

The game generates complex stories on a new level through unpredictable interactions in a large society made of numerous, unique individuals: things like social stratification, crime, riots, religious controversies, and struggle for the throne can all play a part in the story.
They all have their own relationships, sex drive, beliefs, health systems, and backgrounds. Family members also have unique personality traits, and family traits can be passed on to their children.
They joke around, gossip, insult one another, fall in love, make friends, support each other, and sometimes even kill one another out of anger.
Initiate political intrigue with other kingdoms and religious leaders on the global map. Manage events that require intervention, such as blackmail, plague-infested refugees, natural disasters, and more.
Build and upgrade buildings to create efficient production chains but don't forget the ecological balance. Attract migrants with low prices and high wages for work in hazardous industries, or don't pay them at all.
Make use of seven weapon types, three different types of armor, unique combat skills, the body part damage system, and the morale of each member of your army!
Survive in the non-stop competition with other kingdoms. Create complex scenarios by building a society with class, culture, and creed to consider, Build a strong professional army or a wealthy society of free and happy city dwellers with high levels of technology.
