The Bad Guy Stole My Date! Mago Game Reavie
9Mago is fun, but kinda random, and crashed a fair bit on me playing through, whenever i tried to save actually, so here's my little first impressions mago game review. If you like the game, it's out on steam, so head there and check it out.

Mago Overview:
Mago is a retro 2D platformer that puts us in the boots of a sorcerer, who was unfortunate enough to eat evil overlord's food. Now he has to rescue his beloved princess from the dinner menu of the evil Gourmet! Nostalgia awaits!

Yeh, you might be thinking this game looks a bit like mario, you know, retro 2d platformer and all that, but rather than princess peach being kidnapped by bowser, that old pickle, you've got this evil guy here who, produces a flower, and before you know it our dates, gone, and yeh, guess we are probably going to have to try and rescue her. How good dating.
So as you can imagine, as a magician like ourselves, an open world of monsters and sidescrolling levels await for us to try and get her back. You'd think this would be pretty predictable wouldnt you. No think again! BANG we're not some bird like create that has to fly to the end of the level. No explanation, just deal with it. Ok, I guess it can't get any weirder than that... wrong, now we're jumping on some weird jelly heads, and what does this have to do with saving our lady friend? No ideas, and are they going to explain why we are doing this? You can bet your last dollar theres no chance in hell of that happening.
Hey now we're not only some weird bird guy, but we're racing an even weirder look looking bird thing. Yeh okay. Dating sure had changed I recon. Just chucking in a boss fight here as well, because at this point, as you might have imagined, I literally can't put the pieces together about what's happening. Maybe it get's better later. Would love to show you a bit more, but uh, every time i tried to click start and see if i could save, the game crashed. Yeh, well hopefully they fix that before full release.
